1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using AI Music Battle (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. The Platform is operated by TAF Industries Ltd., Toronto, Ontario, Canada. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the Platform.
- You must be at least 18 years old to purchase credits, enter paid competitions, or receive prize payouts.
3. Artist Accounts
Each artist is permitted one account. Duplicate accounts may result in disqualification and suspension. You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials.
4. Track Submissions & AI Requirement
- All tracks must be created using at least one qualifying AI music tool (e.g., Suno, AIVA, Soundraw, Beatoven, or equivalent).
- You must own the rights to all content you submit.
- By submitting, you grant AI Music Battle a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to stream, display, and promote your track on the Platform and affiliated social channels (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, X) for tournament and promotional purposes.
- You retain full ownership of your music.
5. Credits & Payments
- Upload Credits are used to upload tracks to the platform.
- Submit Credits are used to enter bracket competitions.
- Credits are non-refundable once used.
- All purchases are processed via Stripe.
- New accounts receive 3 Upload Credits free upon registration.
6. Tournament Rules
- Brackets hold up to 16 entries per genre. When a bracket fills, the battle begins.
- If entries exceed capacity, selections are made randomly and fairly — unselected artists receive a full Submit Credit refund.
- Voting is 60% fan votes / 40% judge score. Fan votes are blind until a match closes.
- Vote manipulation or use of bots results in immediate disqualification.
- Results are final once announced.
7. Prizes & Payouts
- Prize pools are funded by entry fees plus platform-guaranteed minimums.
- Prize split: 1st (60%), 2nd (25%), 3rd (10%), Voter Reward (5%).
- Paid via PayPal or platform Cash Credits.
- Identity verification is required before payout.
- Taxes on prize winnings are the sole responsibility of the winner.
8. Content Moderation
All tracks are reviewed before appearing in the catalog. We may reject or remove tracks containing hate speech, untagged explicit content, or illegal material. Repeated violations may result in permanent suspension without refund.
9. Withdrawals
Cash balances are withdrawable to a verified PayPal account. Withdrawals are processed within 5–10 business days. We may delay withdrawals pending a fraud review.
10. Intellectual Property
The AI Music Battle name, logo, and UI are the property of TAF Industries Ltd. Artists retain full ownership of their submitted music.
11. Prohibited Conduct
- Submitting tracks you do not own or have rights to.
- Vote manipulation, botting, or any automated activity.
- Harassment, threats, or harmful conduct toward other users.
- Reverse-engineering or exploiting the platform.
Violations result in account suspension and forfeiture of all credits and prizes.
12. Disclaimers
The Platform is provided "as is." We make no guarantees regarding uptime, bracket timing, or uninterrupted access to features.
13. Limitation of Liability
TAF Industries Ltd. is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including lost credits, missed prize opportunities, or data loss arising from use of the Platform.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time with notice. Continued use of the Platform following notice constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
